B G's Highlander Tavern

I've been to this place many times before even though I do not drink. There's a couple of people I know who go there on a semi-regular basis and I meet them there for an appetizer or two. The food is okay depending on who's cooking at that day. It's the typical local bar so you're really there to drink. The music is way too loud and it's difficult to carry on a conversation which makes everyone there have to talk even louder so it's too much noise for my personal taste. But if you don't mind that then you want just your local small watering hole then go have a drink.

Out this way for summertravel baseball. Picked this spot randomly on 4th of July Excellent food. Excellent service. Had lander boy and lander girl burgers reminiscent of Bobs Big Boy. Sweet potatoes fries, battered mozzarella sticks and crispy cheesy potato skins all Excellent. Highly recommend and wish we lived closer.

Always a good time when I visit here. The female cook is fun but can also cook very well. I highly suggest their wings and mozzarella sticks! Small bar but you can always find a seat. Keno is popular and you can buy/pick your music. Bartenders are ok but the owner is super sweet.

The BigBoy style burger (BG Lander Boy) was really good, and even though they have TOTS on the menu, I had to get the fries again. They come out super hot and crispy. EDIT: Just went back for that burger and fries again. It's even better than I remember. The burger seemed bigger and tastier and the new fries were somehow better than the old ones which I would have thought was impossible. If you trust my reviews at all get to this place immediately for that burger. Two things: 1. If you're not going alone, I'd try to go during the day. They blare the music at night and you can't really talk without yelling. 2. I order a cup of extra sauce with the burger because it's crazy good and you'll definitely want extra. Also, I doubt I'll ever get a picture of this burger. I'm so excited to start eating by the time it gets to the table there's no way I could stop and pull out my phone. Sorry my menu photos suck. I'll try to get better ones next time, but I doubt anyone will need them after they try that burger.

Stacey was great and very welcoming. Food is great, had the wings and potatoe skins.

Very unfriendly female bartender. Not even a hello. Made my wife and I feel very unwelcome. Had 1 drink and left,went across the street to B-Rox and had a GREAT time. Oh yeah,spent $50 there with a nice tip to the lady bartender. Great job,Highlander!
