Amazing place! My brother recommended this place years ago. Now we have been 5 plus times in less than 6 months. Have recommended this place to many friends who have come in and love it better than a Pub Sub! Each time we have tried different items since the menu is diverse and they have monthly specialty items. The cheesecake is a must! $3 a slice , monthly flavors. The Juciey Tree Climber , the Bison Meatball ( Mondays - they run out fast!!!) , Spicy Melange , Cool Ranch Rider all amazing! The service is great! Have seen Peter twice now and if he’s not a manager or an owner he should be one! His service and recommendations are awesome! He’s very nice and professional! Ask for Peter! We have only been to the Pasadena location and honestly we’ve been so happy with it we want to continue to support!

So so delicious, ever since I tried this place I have been craving their Hail Mary wrap. Yes there are many sub shops but this one just does it up, I really enjoy that. They already know their customers want chips on their sandwich. They elevate these things to the max and it’s definitely worth checking out at least once to see if you like it which I’m sure you will. 10 out of 10, and what I have here is a half eaten hail Caesar wrap, it’s nice and light and healthy and good. The pricing is also pretty fair. This specific sandwich is $9.50 plus a tip as I added on at the end. But I think for the amount of sandwich that you get and the other ones, and how bulky they are, it’s totally worth

These subs are fantastic here and very friendly staff. They have a couple of tables to eat outside, but it was so hot that we ate inside. Quick service and you get to choose exactly how you want your sandwich. So good! We come when we can.

I want to preface this by saying that I love this sub shop. I got to both this location and the location on 3rd Ave, but this time I walked in and I could tell the environment was off. I just left, so this happened on 6/7 around 4pm. As me and my friend were waiting to order the two people were working, a taller man in a grey shirt that seemed to be a manager, and a young blonde girl. The entire time we were waiting to order the man was arguing with the girl. He was making extremely condescending comments to her, loud enough for everyone in the store to hear. He was trying to embarrass her infront of all of the guests. It was so off-putting to see an older man speak to anyone, let alone a young girl, like that. I would like to say that the entire time this was going on, the young woman was completely calm and remained respectful while the man was continuing to escalate their argument. It was just disturbing to watching and if he continued or she wasn’t standing up for herself the way she did, then I would have felt the need to step in. If this man is a manager, you seriously need to rethink who you have working here.

Great subs! I’m glad we stopped here for lunch. We got 2 subs and split them, the spicy Italian and the spice melange. Both were so good! They even individually wrapped them and they keep very well for dinner later. We will be back!

I can’t say enough good things about Gateway Subs. I have never encountered friendlier staff. We have been to multiple locations and Pasadena is our favorite. You could not go wrong with anything on the menu. The Juicy Tree Climber is the best! If you want to laugh follow them on instagram. Keep up the amazing work!

Great place we came here and played cards for a bit great staff try their ice cream as for their sandwich’s their good definitely a local gem.
